📝 Role Overview:
KDB SoftTech AB is looking for a skilled Automotive Software Tester to ensure quality, reliability, and safety in embedded systems for next-gen vehicles. You will work closely with our development team to test ECUs, communication protocols, and vehicle-level functionality.
🚀 Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute manual and automated test cases
- Perform unit, integration, and system-level testing
- Validate ECU communication (CAN, LIN, UDS)
- Conduct defect logging, debugging, and root cause analysis
- Use tools like CANoe, CANalyzer, and HIL systems
- Collaborate with developers and functional safety engineers
✅ Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in automotive software testing
- Strong understanding of embedded systems and automotive diagnostics
- Hands-on with CANoe, Vector tools, or dSPACE HIL
- Familiar with test plans, traceability, and bug tracking tools
🎯 Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of ASPICE, ISO 26262
- ISTQB Certification
- Python scripting for automation
- Experience with CI/CD for testing
